Ragne Pajo, Psy.D., C.Psych

Registered Clinical Psychologist

I help my clients with a broad range of issues such as anxiety, including fears, phobias and panic; depression; low self-esteem and stress management. I also have extensive experience working with trauma-related concerns, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and can help you feel safe again. In addition, I help guide clients through relationship problems, family issues, and health-related struggles.

One of my special areas of expertise is an in-depth understanding of the impact that personality disorders and other significant mental health issues within family members, partners, and the workplace can have on my clients. I can help you manage these complex relationships.

When working with my clients, I take an integrative approach to evidence-based practices and use strategies such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), family systems theory, mindfulness and acceptance. I believe that everyone is different and use an open-minded, problem-solving and collaborative approach that is tailored to your individual goals and needs. I take special care to foster self-compassion through understanding and, with education and support, work to empower you to make lasting positive changes.

I completed my doctoral training at the University of Hartford in Connecticut, USA, in 2008. This was followed by eight years of providing outpatient therapy specializing in trauma and crisis as well as treating mood and behaviour-related concerns. I then worked at CBT Associates in Toronto from 2016 to 2019, primarily treating adults 18 years of age and older.

In addition to English, I am also able to provide services in Estonian.
