“Healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It happens in community. In ceremony… Once you start approaching your body with curiosity rather than fear, everything changes.” – Linda Thai

“Maybe the fear is that we are less than we think we are, when the actuality of it is that we are much much more.” – Jon Kabat-Zinn

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. Holding a deep desire for connection to all living things, I strongly value relationships and the healing magic that happens when we engage with one another. As a therapist, I am rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationships and that we all hold the wisdom in our bodies to navigate and make this process possible.

For over 12 years, I’ve worked in Toronto in both community and private practice settings with people of all ages, backgrounds, and lived experiences – including Toronto’s Indigenous and Regent Park communities. Currently I support folks 18 and onwards and am registered with the Non-Insured Health Benefits program (NIHB) which allows greater access to therapy services for eligible First Nations and Inuit folks.

My approach is somatic, creative, trauma-informed, and deeply relational. I am very committed to the need for safety, belonging, and respect; all of which create the foundation for a strong and meaningful therapeutic relationship.

I work with folks who are:

  • Wanting to embrace their full selves.
  • Curious about the wisdom of the body and are looking for something different from the other therapies they’ve tried or feel that sometimes words are not enough.
  • Looking for someone who is gentle, curious, compassionate, and playful to join them in figuring out what comes next.
  • Passionate about connecting to themselves, others, and the world.

I am dedicated to supporting folks in all the ups and downs and twists and turns of life. This includes:

  • Anxiety
  • Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress
  • Intense emotions, thoughts, or physical sensations that get in the way of daily living
  • Intense emotional responses that feel out of place in the situation
  • Feeling frozen or stuck
  • Relationship-related wounds
  • Difficulty maintaining relationships
  • Grief and Loss
  • Depression

I received my Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and am a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I flexibly draw on and resonate with body-based (somatic), attachment-based, trauma-responsive approaches and have specialized training in the following areas:

  • Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level 1: Treatment of Trauma)
  • Emotion Focused Therapy (Levels 1 & 2)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Nervous system regulation

If you’re here, you’re likely ready to take that next step. Choosing a therapist is a personal and important decision. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect to ask questions or chat about if we’d be a good fit and how we can work together.
